How Do We Begin?

I like to meet each student informally before agreeing to take a student on. There is no charge for our initial meeting. The one-on-one working relationship of a music teacher and student can be a close one, and how well the two personalities "click" can have a significant impact on the student's success, and the quality of experience for both student and teacher.

Fortunately, as a conscious adult, you do not need to spend years studying with a teacher who is not a good match for you, as children often do. You can choose a teacher who suits you. An informal discussion can give us both a pretty good idea whether our personalities and approaches are a good fit, can help me understand your goals, and can help us both decide which way to proceed.
