In the summer of 2004, Bill and I rode our bicycles across Canada, from the Pacific to the Atlantic. We began in Vancouver on July 3, and completed our journey at St. John's, Newfoundland on September 30. Here is a newspaper article from Foam Lake, Saskatchewan about our trip.
Our route through Saskatoon (not Regina) cycling east to Winnipeg on Highway 16 avoided the cyclist death zone on Manitoba's Highway 1 near Virden.
